09.01.2007 "Inform-mobil" acts in favor of content licensing in Georgia

"Inform-mobil" Company has signed an agreement with Geocell operator. Interactive SMS services were launched into commercial service.

Before that "ZnakomstvA" (short number 9001) and "Forum" (9002) were presented to Magti GSM in the end of March 2006. Then "Inform-mobil" Company became the Russian pioneer of VAS market in Georgia.

In Geocell network also mp3 and polyphonic melodies, Java-applications and pictures were presented. Fully licensed content became a key-factor of success while signing of the agreement with operator.

All services and content rendered to Geocell operator are localized and provided in Georgian. "Inform-mobil" has plans of translating of the regional web site for customers and also expansion of translated into Georgian range of services.

"Having connected to the Geocell during this calendar year we have fulfilled our task by 2007", says Dmitriy Timoschenko Executive Director of "Inform-mobil". "Our strategy is a maximum integration with technologies of operator. We stick to it in foreign countries as well."
