13.12.2006 LBS: "Inform-mobil" resumes active promotion of the service

At present "Inform-mobil" Company (IMMO.ru trademark) has launched into commercial service LBS services "Compass" and "Mobile child" for MTS subscribers of Novosibirsk.

 "Inform-mobil" also organized the multitransportational access to services: via SMS-number 7788, WEB or WAP portals "MTS-Poisk" (www.mpoisk.ru, www.mpoisk.ru/wap).

 "We are the leaders of the LBS-services market for cellular operators as we have been providing the services since 2005", says Dmitriy Timoschenko, Executive Director of "Inform-mobil". "This direction is very attractive for different types of users: starting from parents finishing with corporate customers."

 "Inform-mobil" finds this innovational direction a challenging and profitable one. A special structure responsible for development, promotion and payback of new services of customer location was created in the Company.

Beside WAP version of "Compass" service "Inform-mobil" Company developed the function of sending the object’s location information to the e-mail box of the subscriber. So the basic opportunities of "Compass" and "Mobile Child" are:

  • Identification of your own location
  • Identification of other subscriber location
  • Identification of location of subscribers’ group
  • Identification of location in a time frame
  • Chat with the other service subscribers
  • Sending of on-line map to the e-mail box
  • Control of your identification availability

Identification of location of other subscriber is possible after adding him to "My list". To do it the subscriber needs to register with "Compass" service and give you his unique name.

For identification of location a mobile phone has to be switched on. After deleting a subscriber from contact list it becomes impossible to identify his location.

 

"Mobile Child" service opportunities:

For parents

  • Identification of location of subscribers from "My family" list;
  • Identification of your own location;
  • Watching after the subscribers movements with the fixed time frame;
  • Receiving of the map with the result of identification of location to e-mail box;
  • Receiving the information about subscribers who identified your location;
  • Permission/prohibition of location identification for subscribers/groups;
  • Sending of messages to the subscribers from "My family" list or groups;
  • Deleting/adding of subscribers/groups;
  • Deleting of yourself from the service.

When registered in the "Mobile Child" service a subscriber automatically receives an opportunity to use the "Compass" function.

For children

  • Identification of your location;
  • Identification of location of subscribers from "My family" list;
  • Watching after the subscribers from "My family" list with the determined time frame;
  • Receiving of the map with the result of identification of location to e-mail box;
  • Receiving of information about subscribers from "My family" list who identified his location except for parents’ requests;
  • Sending of messages to the subscribers from "My family" list.

"Inform-mobil" Company has further plans of Location Based Services range extension.

Cost of one outcoming SMS-message to 7788 is 0.15 conventional units excluding VAT.1 conventional unit equals to 1 USA dollar according to the inner rate of operator on the date of payment.Incoming messages are not rated.
