19.10.2006 Results of the tender: "Inform-mobil" has developed the WAP-site "Beeline" in Uzbekistan
Content and service provider "Inform-mobil" (IMMO.ru trademark) has developed wap.beeline.uz portal for "Beeline" Company in Uzbekistan.
The implementation of the large-scale project became possible thanks to the "Inform-mobil" Company's success in the tender for content provision and WAP-resource development.
The results of the tender were announced in July 2006. The portal has been tested at capacities of provider for 2 months before the launch into commercial service.
"Information and entertaining WAP-portals of operators have a good prospective. Their payload with our services and fully license content is one of the advantages of the policy of "Inform-mobil" development on the territory of CIS countries," Dmitriy Timoschenko, Executive Director of "Inform-mobil", is commenting on the interest particularly to this project. "One of success factors is our experience on CIS markets and also the fact that cellular operators are our key partners," Mr Timoschenko pointed out.
Commercial launch of wap.beeline.uz was dated to the Unitel operator transfer under "Beeline" brand. Resource design was performed in accordance with brand-book of customer: the recognizable corporate yellow and black stripe.
wap.beeline.uz is a sound information and entertaining resource. World, economical, cultural, sports and (in the short term) local newslines, weather report (in Uzbekistan and abroad), horoscopes and updated multimedia content, protected by agreements with possessors of rights are presented to the subscribers' consideration.
Among WAP-site entertainment services it is worth mention the fully updated service "ZnakomstvA" ("Circle of Friends"). Interactive service is multitransport (WAP, STK/DSTK, WEB, SMS) but in this case "ZnakomstvA" were specially adapted under T3 wap.beeline.uz. Service opportunities were complemented with the united user base, addition of voice greetings and photos to profiles, search according to the set-up parameters, hints and anonymous communication.
Forum, chat and jokes collection is also included to the site content.
The Company's work experience in CIS and particularly in Uzbekistan contributed to the success of "Inform-mobil" participation in tender. "Inform-mobil" was the first among his colleagues of market to start providing additional services of cellular communication in Uzbekistan from April of 2004.
